Pleated Blinds
Pleated blinds are a great alternative to roller blinds as the slim rails provide a neat and unobtrusive installation.
They are an ideal option for customers who wish to have a blind fitting which does not interfere with their view from the window. This is due to the fabric which tightly concertinas together when the blind is retracted, meaning that it takes up a minimal amount of window space.
At Meridian Blinds, we are able to install your pleated blinds as free-hanging with a choice of two cord systems. We offer both the cord lock raise and lower system and the tensioned corded system, depending on your preference.
As well as being a great option for traditional windows, pleated blinds are a popular choice for conservatory roofs including Edwardian, Victorian and lean-to styles. They run on tensioned guide wires and are operated by means of a pole, making them easy to slide up and down.
